Hate to say it but with the way things are going, that could happen. Waving around a bogey man only works so many times. But who knows. Maybe this government still has some progressiveness to it, but so far, I think many are freaked out.

The problem with your argument is that those who voted liberal were lied to thus abandoning the NDP. This is not what they voted for. And the fact that the liberals and conservatives are voting together maybe for the first time in recent history is proof that progressive Canadians were swindled.

When our son was in kindergarten he read more books for the scholastic book thing (challenge?) than any other kid in his school (all grades). Children loving reading. Imagine what this world could be.

Exactly. Not a fan of any of the “ruling class”. They all suck. But him standing up against Bush was a classic moment.

I wasn't a big fan of the Liberals or of Chretian but was very happy that he did not go along with the bs about WMD. I was proud of him that day. I like listening to him now. He's a pulls no punches kind of guy.
