Democratic State Rep. running for Mayor of Providence to tackle the affordability crisis & deliver a Providence for All. Join our grassroots movement!

Today, Providence is the least affordable city in America for renters and costs are going up for everyone.

Together, we can make Providence a city all our neighbors can afford and where everyone feels welcome.

This Veterans Day, I’m thinking of my friends and neighbors who served our country and now find themselves facing personal struggles, from housing insecurity to unmet mental health needs.

Today, I honor all our neighbors who served with deep appreciation and a renewed commitment to do more.

With thousands of our neighbors still struggling from frozen SNAP benefits, our Providence community continues to step up!

Starting today and every Friday in November, our friends at Dominican Street Bites and Sin-Cere Multiservice will be offering FREE meals to our neighbors on SNAP!

Congratulations to NYC and @ZohranKMamdani for making history! Zohran built a movement by knocking on millions of doors to share his vision of a city government that puts workers first.

We can do the same in Providence! Click the link in the replies! Together we can deliver a Providence for All.

This weekend, our team did more than talk about our vision of building a Providence for all.

While knocking on hundreds of doors, our volunteers handed out information of local food pantries helping to feed and care for our neighbors in need! 🫶🏾

We need safer streets. We can’t allow any more lives to be lost to traffic violence. 😔
This week, we lost another neighbor to traffic violence. Documented for excessive speeding and pedestrian injuries, Branch Avenue has been in desperate need of traffic calming measures.

Rest in peace to our neighbor, Michael. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Tonight, the State Properties Commission approved a 10-year lease agreement for 101 Friendship Street, a building where hundreds of frontline DCYF staff members work.

Despite the health and safety concerns shared by workers, the agreement was finalized 👎🏽

All across Rhode Island, over 30,000 of our neighbors came together to show Donald Trump and ICE that we are going to stand together, protect each other, and stop authoritarianism.

This Saturday (1pm) in front of the State House, I’m excited to join community leaders and advocates as we send a clear message: there are no kings in America!

Join us in Providence for what will be a nationwide movement as we stand up to fascism and the terrors of ICE ❌👑❌🧊

Otherwise, there's so many opportunities on Broad, Elmwood, all over the city where a handful of really egregious lots really degrade the neighborhoods for the folks who live there. Housing on those lots would have incredible returns for quality of life

You were there! Hard to think of a better candidate than Smith Hill especially given all that neighborhood has suffered for urban renewal plans that didn't value those neighborhoods and their residents. Would love to see it

Providence already has the power to build affordable housing, we just need to use it! Here’s the story of the Providence Redevelopment Agency.

Tell us in the replies: what’s a vacant area in your community that you’d like to see transformed?

This afternoon, I joined our students at PCTA and the Bridge Academy for a Hispanic Heritage Month Panel, alongside community leaders like Delia Rodriguez, Chief Oscar Perez, Soldenia Salas, and former Mayor Angel Taveras ✨

Moments like these remind us about the power of representation!

Our campaign isn’t taking corporate cash, it’s powered by the support of working people! If everyone watching this video gives just $5 — we would surpass our goals and show the strength of our people powered movement.

It look less than 24 hours for Brett Smiley’s “new” executive order to fall flat.

Last week, masked ICE agents arrested two of our neighbors.

Since then, Smiley has been silent. Providence needs a mayor who will take action, not performative press conferences.
