Here's a random cat from a few years ago at the Catcade in #Chicago.

Been a while since I've posted anything, here's a photo of a cactus down hear Phoenix. Real dramatic clouds in it.

My youngest had the pinewood derby this past weekend. Here's a cool shot of the cars all lined up on pit row.

Here is a dead coyote in Tonto National Forest. We looked it over, no bite or bleeding or sign of why it died, so maybe a venomous bite? Sad but beautiful.

The wild horses of Tonto National Forest is really cool. We only saw a few of them briefly because they had somewhere to be and didn't hang around, but they are so cool. Hopefully going back to #Arizona soon to see them more.

Here's one of the better photos I took in San Marino, the tiny country in the middle of #Italy. What a wonderful place, I highly recommend going if you ever have the chance.

Red Mountain, in Tonto National Forest in #Arizona is amazing. Throughout the day, the light hits it differently and it looks so different from hour to hour.

It's so cold here this morning in Chicago, so here's to thinking warm in #Arizona from last weekend. This is Tonto National Forest on the shore of Fossil Creek. We were waiting, hoping to see the wild horses here to no avail. Something threw them off their normal pattern that day.

Here's another photo of my cat, #Angelo who has the most visible and obvious lips I've ever seen in a cat.

I was in #Arizona this past weekend visiting my sister, and we went hiking through Tonto National Forest. Here's a photo I snapped of a felled cactus. Those things are just so cool, and you have no idea until you get really close to them and see just how enormous they are.

My black cat, Angelo, is quite sweet and loveable. However, and it's a big however, he wakes us up before our alarm most days because he's hungry or whatever and it kills me. I'm really dragging today because of him, so here's a photo of him.

Here's some more San Marino views from my trip to #Italy last fall. Amazing, we had such good food there and the views were amazing.

I can't post one without the other, so today here is my other cat Angelo, our foster fail.

Here's a photo of my quiet, calm boy Remy. He's named after @pattonoswalt.bsky.social 's character in Ratatouille and when we fostered, was a great mentor for helping teach other cats how to cat.

This is one of my all time favorite photos I've snapped. It's in a little alleyway in San Gimignano #Italy. The view is just amazing, normal old village on top of a mountain. The character built into these town is just nothing like I've ever seen.

Been busy with holidays and such, but here's a picture of Angelo again. He's a wonderful cat we rescued after foster failing.

Here's a view of the Starved Rock Lock and Dam as viewed from the Starved Rock State Park.

Here's some more from Starved Rock State Park. Just a really cool area that feels very out of place in Illinois.

Feeling cold here in Chicago, so I'm posting warmth from #Capri #Italy to hopefully warm me up.

Well, I hope everyone had a great Christmas if you celebrate. It was a good one for me, and I'm missing those that I've lost through the years, so here is a photo of my brother 2 years ago from the last Christmas Eve we spent together.

Here's some fungus on a log at Starved Rock State Park. It's a state park built on the land of the Kaskaskia, later settled by the French. It's one of the areas of Illinois that feels the most out of place for Illinois, it's quite remarkable.

Here's a canal in Venice, #Italy at night. What a beautiful city. This is for sure on my "Must go back and spend more time" list.

This is a lighthouse on San Juan Island, a small island in the Salish Sea near Seattle.

Here's a woodpecker I caught on camera at Starved Rock State Park. We could hear him so loudly, we figured he was close and sought him out over like 15 minutes, and worth it. What a cool creature.
