I guess the "bright side" is the enhanced ACA subsidies were going to expire on Dec 31st anyway, and Repubs were just hoping to quietly wait it out. At least now Repubs have to go on record in the next vote as opposing an ACA extension, with the possibility that some might flip and support it.

Crazy that if the most powerful dude in the country stopped and considered "maybe I shouldn't be such a greedy asshole" that it could make his problems, and the problems of millions of people, go away. Imagine having that power but just shitting in your pants in the Oval Office instead.

I really wish we'd all stop with the "bend the knee" phrase when referring to people/companies/institutions kowtowing to Trump- it implies that a civil deference and respect should be maintained when clearly it should not. It's just 100% craven (meaning cowardly) bending over.
