“Where there is hatred, let me sow love.” Words from a prayer named after Francis of Assisi.

I’ve been reflecting on this prayer lately, as well as Shantideva’s description of a bodhisattva. When we fully face the darkness, the only response adequate to the moment is to love. Fully. Fiercely.
