If Joe Biden said "I appointed Jerome Powell" the media would go nuts with stories about Biden losing cognitive abilities (and rightly so, if he did that). But when Trump says he's surprised that Biden appointed Powell: crickets. I'm surprised about that too since the appointment came in 2018.

Our youngest child ages off of our insurance this month. She does gig work that serves kids in Title 1 schools. Helping her navigate the market and she asked "why is this so stupid?" Our answer: capitalism with a heavy pour of racism.
