What is appealing about the lab leak theory is that the pandemic was the result of an accident or "lax safety," as opposed to the way we raise animals for slaughter, as a major change in those conditions would require an unimaginable shift in culinary, cultural, and economic norms.

The negotiation between IATSE and the Atlantic has the potential to be the story with the biggest consequence in the theater in some time. Whatever agreement is reached or not will set the stage for other negotiations with other Off Broadway producers.
