Soccer fan, card collector, part time runner, but mostly just living in my dad era.
I am like 1.2 books in to Mistborn and fully hooked on it. So in case you are wondering reading Sanderson books is now my new personality. I’ve already read more in 2025 at 4 books than I had in any year since undergrad which is like 15 years ago now. Apparently I just needed to ready fantasy.

I like this deal if it’s part of a larger overhaul. If it’s just another defence first guy on the roster while the lack of power remains unaddressed then I’ll be less happy. But for now the Jays seem to have sold high on Horwitz

I have to keep tabs of the Canada post situation for my work since we are directly impacted by it. But the amount of anti labour stuff I’m subjecting myself to seeing is just wild. You like things like maternity leave? CUPW helped dramatically expand that with a 1981 strike. Some fights are worth it

Thankful for quality reporting because this all needs to be dragged out in to the light. No more covering it up behind incompetence.

Being a children’s performer doesn’t always mean people are great with kids. Emma was amazing though. So kind and attentive to each kid that came to see her today. Pretty much made my kids year.

Good for AJ. He is thriving at that level and could honestly be a club icon at Celtic by the time he is done there.
Canada right-back Alistair Johnston has signed a new long-term contract at Celtic through to the summer of 2029 🤝 ✅

It reportedly makes him one of their highest-paid players 💰

Still building out some form of follow list on here. Looking to connect with Canadian soccer folks, soccer card folks, and beyond.

Leah and Jade already going to be a problem for other teams to defend. That’s a lot of scoring power.
The second AFC Toronto player signing is here!

Leah Pais is back in the city after turning professional in Iceland 🤝

Shoutout Richie Laryea for putting a very good player in his pocket for two legs. Becker did nothing out there.

Happy with that performance over 180 minutes. Two clean sheets and 4-0 in the end. Score lines don’t flatter Canada by any means as they were the superior team from start to finish. #CanMNT moving on!

I’m not sure Jonathan David gets the credit he deserves for his vision. His movement and finishing get a lot of deserved attention but he can also just see a play unfold with the best of them.

Toronto FC really decided Shaff wasn’t a player they needed. Been a huge year for him with the national team.

Strong 45 from Canada. Get another one early in the second then make a bunch of subs to see this one out safely. Job almost done. #CanMNT

Allez Les rouges! @thevoyageurs.bsky.social already in fine voice on the broadcast.

I believe DSC will be starting for Canada in 2026. His ceiling is just the highest of the currently viable options. Canada will likely need their bench early in this one with some fitness concerns and minute restrictions in this starting lineup
Here's the #CanMNT XI for their clash vs. Suriname at BMO Field!

Who you most surprised to see?

Sad to not be at BMO Field. It’s rare I miss #CanMNT in driving distance but life sometimes gets in the way. Will be cheering from the couch though. @thevoyageurs.bsky.social will bring it as always.

This will remain an issue until someone is taking them on even a somewhat regular basis at the club level. Not sure anyone in the squad can say that now besides JD and penalties.
Contemplating who #CanMNT's set-piece taker should be? 🤔

It's something Jesse Marsch's team worked on in training in Toronto this week.

"If we can become a really good set piece team, it will boost our chances to win in big moments and in big games.”

Was hoping for some Nations League upsets but can never count on Jamaica. Fully expect Mexico to overturn their deficit tomorrow as well. Just no Canada upset though please.

Someone help me build a follows list because the one thing I hate about any new platform is building out the people I want to engage with. So send me your recs on who to follow

I’m not sure there is a destination for David that I would be fully happy with. Because even him at United would have me torn because it’s not been a good place to play for a long time. But Barca is not a team I want to have to cheer for and if Davies is at Real that would be extra rough.

I’ve finally circled around to playing Pokémon Legends Arceus. I think I normally love Pokémon games almost instantly for nostalgia reasons which this one doesn’t have in the same way. Taking my longer to get hooked as a result but still a solid game thus far.
