Trump probably is right that the American health care system, subsidized or not, by design or not, makes health "insurance" companies rich.

Wow. Who knew this could happen??
A little-known section tucked into the Constitution may hold the key to overturning Democratic wins in 2026. trib.al/kN9rmvE

Do you expect Johnson to willingly surrender the gavel because it’s the right thing to do, when Trump and the entire Republican Party threaten his political future?

Hepatitis B is so infectious that babies need to be vaccinated within one day of birth.

Also, if you delay the birth dose, moms might not be able to get back to the clinic for it. The more you ask of parents, the harder you make it, the fewer kids get vaccinatd.

I don't understand people who still believe the administration's claims that prices are going down, when it's completely apparent to anyone buying almost anything that virtually all prices are up

Strangely, the "Ukrainian Peace Plan", negotiated one-on-one between the USA and Russia, *exceeds* Russian demands and fails to consider anyone else's view 😥😡

An M.I.T. study found that 95% of companies that had invested in A.I. tools were seeing zero return. It jibes with the emerging idea that generative A.I., “in its current incarnation, simply isn’t all it’s been cracked up to be,” John Cassidy writes. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/mlYgP3

Fines up to $500,000 if doctors speak up against this bill.

We need to stop electing people so out of touch with the commons.

Re-tweet and like. Because this is gross negligence.

I'm surprised that Carney's budget seems to rely heavily on AI - or at least talks about AI - as a way to significantly reduce the cost of government. Especially since an (MIT?) study estimates 95% of companies adopting AI see no benefit at all.

Why does it seem that the only news agency covering the impact of government policies on average Americans is NPR? And if I hear anything damaging or embarrassing to the government, it's usually from The Guardian (UK) or Australia? 😥
November 1, 2025 at 11:19 PM
I don't like that Carney apologized to Trump in any way for Ford's ad. Now Trump is declaring Canada posted lies, when really the ad itself was true. Still, 2 things; 1) I guess in politics sometimes you have to do the unpalatable, and 2) Canadians say sorry all the time, even when they're not ❤️ 🇨🇦
