Author of the book The Cannon King’s Daughter, the American author who created a firestorm in Germany with the true, untold story of the banishment of his great-grandmother, Engelbertha from Germany’s Krupp steel dynasty of Essen.
A previously unreleased photograph dating back to approximately 1865 of my great-grandmother, Engelbertha Krupp Stroebele, emerged recently. She was banished and disinherited from the Krupp steel family of Essen, Germany. She is dressed in white on the left.

Very shocked and saddened after learning that, in 1944, that for his participation in the July 1944 assasination attempt on Hilter, Lt Col Claus von Stauffenberg’s body was disinterred by the SS a day after his execution, cremated, and his ashes disposed of. How unholy.

After reading Diana Friz’s book, Alfred Krupp and Bartold Bietz, I have concluded that Beitz was both a liability to the firm and a backstabber to the surviving family.

One of the strangest letters I've received is from a man from New Jersey who said his great-grandfather was German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, who immigrated to Hillside, New Jersey, near Newark. Can't make this stuff up...
