It's almost the exception that proves the rule - you literally have to fire the Doctor back in time before the episode begins to give Sally the airtime to establish herself!

I know every country is set up differently/has different cultural norms/all that - but if I was a world leader I would 100% be copying any good idea I could!

I also saw that rumour, and despite never having played a single game of Warhammer Quest, BSF and CC have been a wealth of proxies and kitbashes for me, so there's no way I won't try and pick it up!

Film criticism is an environment where straight, white, cisgender, and male voices have dominated for over a century. Now we FINALLY have an influx of diverse voices who offer more context, expertise and analysis! And now, of course, people say critics are worthless now. What a fucking coincidence.

Politely withdrawing from a book prize isn’t cancelling anyone. When the Women’s Prize said it had no problem incl transgender women, the “gender critical” novelist Lissa Evans, for example, said she’d no longer allow her books to be submitted for it. I wonder where the substacks were about that?
