It's actually a lot closer to 1 in 7, but I'm splitting hairs.

American culture was built by immigrants. The US literally just celebrated a holiday that acknowledges that foreign white people, who arrived in boats, broke bread with native Americans.

You just don't like brown people.
Rep. Kat Cammarck: "Today, one in six people in the US is foreign born. That quite frankly is not sustainable to maintain a culture that we are known for here in the United States."

Cancellation was always the wrong word.

Consequences.
“Cancellation limbo”: when you’re definitely not cancelled but not as celebrated as you used to be. This is one reason why “cancel culture” discourse is so tiresome: a lot of people are using it to mean “my life was affected in some negative way by my actions”

I've had a brilliant few years ring announcing.

You know what I'd love to do, though?

Announce a match on AEW's UK tour in December.

HERE'S WHAT I DO! Putting it out there into the universe!

We all agree that these "dubs" suck.

But once again, that's not the core problem here. The quality will inevitably improve, though I personally doubt to the quality of a dub made by actual humans who care.

The problem is that these exist AT ALL. They're an offense to art, and always will be.
Welp, a second AI dub on Amazon has apparently been found, and it's a show that already had a perfectly normal (albeit non-union) dub: No Game No Life.

Can’t remember budget ‘case studies’ ever being quite so funny. Especially in newspapers that recently anointed Liz Truss a fiscal genius.
Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

Argos delivery is fucking useless. If I had any other option I would seriously never use them again.

Got a call from the courier saying that the item can't be delivered tonight, it hadn't been loaded onto the van. I worked in deliveries, this is code for "I can't be arsed/I'm running behind"

Can't really say much after a goal like that, other than bloody hell, Bayern are quite good aren't they?

Literally every pass has to be inch perfect. Well played.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

She can't start collecting until she's 62, but that does qualify her for a pension.

From what I can tell, that's about $15k annually in today's dollars.

I just realized that Majorie Taylor Greene likely picked January 5th because it would (barely) make her eligible for a congressional pension.

A House Member has to win three consecutive terms and serve at least five years. January 3rd marks her fifth year in Congress.

If the US thinks that they can step in and try to end the war by giving away Ukrainian land to THE AGGRESSOR, they've got another thing coming.

If anyone should be ceding land in a settlement it should be Russia, giving back the Crimea.

If anyone EVER wonders why we keep bringing Jamal Khashoggi's name up, this is why.

They're not even sorry, and worse, now they have POTUS telling them there's nothing to be sorry about.

Every other president in history would be dragged over the coals for saying something like this, but not Trump
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

This woman voted for a man who was caught saying "Grab them by the pussy".

Asking him to show some class is like ordering KFC and then expecting it to taste like beef.

I still hope she gets what she's campaigning for though.
“You are our president. Please start acting like it. Show some class. Show some real leadership. Show that you actually care about the people other than yourself. I voted for you, but your behavior on this issue has been a national embarrassment.”

The fact that they used AI at all during development is enough for me to not touch this game with the shitty end of a ten for bargepole.

Even in the nascent stages of development, using AI over human talent is a massive turn off for me. Give me games made with human imagination and creativity!

I think Trump should just look to settle out of court with the BBC, for an amount that's more reflective of the value of his "good" name.

£2.50 should do it.
