we start with almost nothing. I don’t use any prepared patterns whatsoever. My mate has some synth patterns that he blends in and I’ve got a selection of texture samples that I add sometimes (and a couple of shaker loops). No prepared songs or parts of songs whatsoever. All made and arranged on spot
