Three Republicans have now voted against Mike Johnson (and have rejected Trump’s endorsement). Quite a statement of independence, Johnson is going to have to negotiate and give some ground to get their votes. Will be interesting to see if this turns into Kevin McCarthy 2.0

Latest COP29 text has finance goal at $1.3 trillion for developing countries annually by 2035, with $250 billion to come from developed countries.

Always appreciate Sen. Ed Markey’s dedication to climate action and his attendance at #COP29 to say that the US will keep moving forward on climate in many ways, even if Trump pulls the country from the Paris Agreement.
