Implying that an innate personal gender can’t exist seperate to macro biological characteristics because they can’t see it seems odd. Especially when they’re happy to take the word of the rest of the LGBTQ community, it makes them look a mighty inconsistent and a little “bad faithy” if you ask me.

And frankly that’s before we get into the question of gender vs sex. We can’t even work out what drives the apparently innate internal sexuality people. It’s obviously not nurture dependant so biology has some role but what? It appears in many species too so it’s not a higher brain function.

I always ask biological by what metric?
There’s not a single binary definition that nature doesn’t ignore for some people. Biochemistry is messy and complicated and cares not a jot for attempts at binary classification.

It’s either a ship name from the Culture universe, an 18 minute long song about Norse comparative theology by some obscure Norwegian symphonic metal band or a hard sci-fi novel from an unknown writer in the 80s with a cover inexplicably featuring an overly muscled barbarian who’s not in the story.

Pharma development includes statistical analysis sure, the rest of organic chemistry and especially biochemistry is not particularly math based at all.

A handful of workplace bullies who were not backed by any of their colleagues, have got to clutch their pearls in the national press and pretend they're the victims. It's been frankly disgusting across the board.

The BBC is simply way too large to say it's one thing or the other. This is its greatest strength but obviously leaves it open to criticism because for any possible bias you can point to something in its output as supporting evidence.

accurate for news output and senior management. Everything else is really not. I've spent the last 5 years making various factual shows for BBC channels. Ive even worked directly for BBC studios (its independent production company).

Sorry for the questions, I just love stuff like this. Not just the teeth but the why and how. It's all rad as hell.
Thank you for posting the best thing I've learned today!

Is the distortion from either differential hydration of the teeth warming in on one side more than the other, or a bimaterial thing though where one material grows and the other doesnt, or at least grows at a slower rate.
Incidentaly bimetallic switches are what made car indicators work.

Now I've got to ask, are these teeth made of calcium crystals like animal teeth? Our teeth are made of hydroxyapatite rods that are a calcium and phosphate crystal bonded with enamel and collagen in a composite structure. Is this similar?

I had to do a bunch of research into spores as part of the plants pack I wrote for the comedy writers on the last series of Horrible Science. If I'd known about these I'd have definitely included it.
If we get to come back for series 3 then you can guarantee its inclusion.

So if im understanding you right. They're a self regulating door mechanism to optimise spore dispersal at a time thats also optimal for the survivability of spores?
In other words the teeth open the mouth so to speak.

They want appraisals capped at 3%? Cool cool. Then that becomes the legal retail price.
Seems fair right? You're wouldn't want people to deliberately make appraisal for taxes inaccurate are you?

Anything that offends the idea that these (mostly) upper middle class women arent the most put upon in the world is met with attack.
Dont get me wrong for pretty much every social strata, race, indeed any category its harder to be a woman than a man. No question. Intersectionalism goes beyond that.

The only brand of feminism that countess the one where they get to look down on those women they don't deem sufficiently feminine.
It doesnt matter if it's rooted in homophobia, race, class (remember the whole way women in council houses were treated) and not transphobia. Its all the same.

I've lost track of how many times CIS female friends across the sexuality spectrum have had to deal with transphobes trying to kick them out of toilets. Even in the rock scene it happens although those responsible tend to be swiftly kicked out after.

if you're not presenting in a way that fits traditional western, heteronormative values for feminine beauty then you're always been shunned and treated as suspect.
So many of these transphobes in the UK are just school bullies that never learned to grow the fuck up

I love this. Do you happen to know why? Obviously not for chewing but they have to have some mechanism they support right?

But apparently the BBC bends over backwards to censor any view thats not massively pro LGBTQ. Really? Fuck off mate.

If a racist refused to change in the presence of a black person or a homophobe refused to change in the presence of a queer person, we wouldn't accept that behaviour.
Yet the BBC is sitting down to have an interview with them as if they were wronged somehow and using wording like "biological male"

its so obvious he read about the Minds in the Culture series after Joyce Carrol Oats dragged him. He's straight acted as if the slap drones, fully sentient floating AI drones that follow you around to make sure you don't hurt others, was his idea.

Thats not all, illness, stress, eating disorders and many other factors play a huge part in puberty and its only recently that we've come to understand how much impact they can have.
It tends to be more apparent in girls given social norms but it can affect boys just as much.
