Flying highlights of 2024 include flying BA First to JFK in September, but not surprisingly because @speedbirdjulie.bsky.social and @jamiebsmith.bsky.social were also on board they ran out of champagne quickly

McDonald’s in Italy - if you order things from the McCafe range (cakes and hot drinks) they come on proper plates and cups! The tea isn’t very good though 😬

Newcastle Airport departures board in the 80s (📸 X/@TyneFlashback) does anyone know all the airlines operating there?
BA - obvious, BY - Britannia (now TUI), UK - Air UK (bought by KLM), DA - Dan Air (bought by BA). No idea on VB, PAT, TUK or GX. Flights to Manchester and Birmingham then too!

Alitalia may be long gone but they once had a sponsorship deal with a restaurant chain popular in Milan. I never got to see inside the aircraft until pictures were released recently…
