Interesting to see that #IrnBru (fizzy drink from #Scotland, one of very few countries in the world where a local drink outsells Big Cola) currently has a #NessieNectar flavour (vaguely fruity, less iron-y/ferric than normal). Hopefully no loch monsters were harmed or used in its production? #Slurm

If we in the UK didn’t have to spend so much damn money on over-inflated rent or home purchase costs, we might actually be able to enjoy an at least moderate standard of living, and, y’know, be able to afford other things which actually productively support our economy.

Someone needs to retune a few dials on the Bluesky “Discovery” feed.
It seems that at least half of what it spews out is pictures by mànga artists (or spambots or image generators?). Sadly no amount of “Show less like this” stops the deluge.
I want to read discussions, not see a forced slideshow!

Very good to see #TheGuardian rightly giving the #EUElection headline prominence on its home page, but also so sadly noticeable that the #BBC gives only a brief mention well down the page, whereas for the USA (with a far smaller population) the BBC always gives their elections top billing. 1/
