Wedding photography gets a very bad wrap. In reality, it’s a rare opportunity to see and feel the frisson of emotions, document them forever, and be part of a very special day. I haven’t shot a wedding in years. This was one of my favs. #weddingphotography #photography

Every so often I go through periods of forgetting the number one rule as a #photographer: Document your life. I’m always closer to my ideal self when I get back to it. Side note: Big props to #leica for the beautiful app design that brings the joy of contact sheets to my phone with their app.

Walking through Manhattan I noticed this man fast asleep on a bench, mid-book and mid-cigarette. I snapped a shot and suddenly a burst a wind knocked his book from his lap, waking him immediately. I pressed the shutter a final time. #streetphotography #photography
