Make no mistake, everything that’s happening in the United States is being significantly enabled by the right wing oligarch capture of media.

Every other country needs to do everything possible to keep that from happening where they are.

Including protecting the CBC from Poilievre here in Canada.

RESISTANCE comes in many forms.

We resist the rise of fascism in everything we do.
We are on the streets.
We are gathering and resourcing each other
We are gathering to grieve and making inequality visible

There is a serious failure in UK govt, politics & media to take sufficiently seriously what Musk said & meant with "fight back or die"

= Violence (interethnic civil war) is inevitable so pre-emptive violence - vs migrants, minorities & political opponents - is necessary to avoid existential erasure
The common sense meaning should make this Elon Musk's "rivers of blood" moment

Though I think he goes further than Enoch Powell in a couple of important ways
Elon Musk spoke by video to Tommy Robinson's anti-immigrant rally in the UK today.

"You're in a fundamental situation here where, whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you," said Musk. "You either fight back or you die."

Something weird about this story: he was pinned to the machine for an hour. Emergency quenching shouldn't take longer than a minute, but it would cost $ in downtime and helium. USA healthcare cost before people or lack of people with emergency shutdown knowledge?

This is an appalling article by the guardian. I talkst about the number of accidents involving cyclists? How many of those involved motarised vehicles? It mentions the danger of cyclists but not cars.

The prusa mk4s was a pleasure to build. Fairly complicated, took a couple of days. Fantastic instructions. Flawless prints to start with. Products was severely let down by the supplied faulty usb stick. Took hours to trouble shoot as I was not expecting this was the problem. @josefprusa.bsky.social

At this rate we will need to start talking about who is appeasing Trump. Europe should put on a united front. Any pretence Trumps America is an ally of Europe is completely gone.

Severn Trent artificially inflates assets to pay dividends. More dividends paid than profits earned. We need to get these corporate ghouls out of what should be publicly owned assets. This has already happened to Thames. When the company is crippled by debt we pay.
