It’s Yves. Just reluctant to say his name bc his followers are… very passionate to put it mildly

Absolutely. I certainly want someone with a good track record of showing up. And I think activists ( mostly) can make good leaders but not always…Thinking of one person specifically who has yet to be vetted I’m sure you know who I am referring to lol

But also thank you sharing your perspective. Very much value and appreciate your opinion. Would love to chat about this later in leadership race!

I totally understand that. Right now a few of us are doing the O4P workshop and the second plenary was focused on identifying leaders as opposed to activists. Trying to apply that lesson to this. I have no clue if I’m doing a good job at it lol

Fair point! My concern with avi and I think he’s excellent too- is that I’m not sure his campaign is well organized and I see him more as an activist as opposed to a natural leader. But to your point, a candidate that women can trust will be very important moving forward

I know his French sucks but I’ve also been impressed by Ashton and see a lot of potential. Nothing against avi but I don’t think he brings the same charisma or can connect with workers the way that Ashton seemingly can. Would love your perspective on this!

I very much appreciate that. Lots to discuss lol

Maybe but I’d love it if we’re proven wrong. Laura has had great guests on before that I haven’t seen return in a while. So maybe you are right. That said, I think legacy media is cooked and local voices are becoming more important so it’s worth imploring.

Pierre may have lost the battle but the right is winning the war. There’s no room for smugness.

Fascism is creeping into Canada thru Carney- he is shifting the Overton window further right priming Canadians for Pierre or worse in the near future and all I hear is victory laps and sycophantic praise from liberals. Have we learned nothing about what this leads to?
September 18, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Correct my if I’m wrong, but have you talked about Bill C2? Carney inviting the architect of project 2025? Eulogizing Kirk? Austerity? Capitulating to trump with tariffs and saying nothing about cdns in ICE detention? Supporting a genocide and having foreign policy dictated by Israel and US?
