So how was your night last night? I had this. Storm missed me entirely, but the rotation went directly over my mom's house. It wasn't producing a tornado at the time, but had produced one earlier.

I just think it's really neat how in episode 12 of Andor we get multiple shots of Paak carefully assembling a pipe bomb while looking at a hologram of his father who was recently hanged by the Empire just as a show of force. I hope he gets some good screen time in season 2.

My basement flooded for the 4th time I think. This time because a waterline broke in front of another unit. I've vacuumed out the water and nothing seems damaged. People are fixing the pipe now.

Today is the 230th anniversary of that one time the French cavalry captured some Dutch ships trapped in ice by leading a charge across a frozen sea. Making it one of probably very few times ship were captured by cavalry. It's one of those weird events in history.

The snow has started here and the birds seem to be visiting to feeder more often today. They're also puffed up for the cold weather.

For work I had to calculate how many cars could line up to get in this wash. I had to stare at it for a bit to figure out how this was supposed to work. This is the craziest car wash layout I've ever seen and this is my job. I stare at car washes on google maps for a living.
