Several iterations later and now there's triple the pieces to this pattern (not all pictured). I did a quick mock up of this version using some thrifted fabric and I'm thinking I'll only need a few more adjustments to finish up this design.

Finally got my ass back in front of my sewing machine and finished my jacket made out of material typically limited to couches owned by grandparents or inherited from grandparents.
Only a year and two months after I started it. I promise I can make something in a timely manner when it's called for.
