Because the position of the dot, or many dots, or the absense of dots.... none of that matters to Google.

So I sometimes put a dot near the end, if I'm dubious that I won't get spammed by whoever I'm giving my email to. And I only give that version of the address to potench spammers.

Everyone has a favourite set of measuring spoons, of course. (And, almost certainly, a second set of measuring spoons, which you like slightly less for some unknowable reason.)

There’s comes a point where you have to question the purpose of the original song - a litany of “quirky / exotic _Other Cultures_”….

I don’t know enough about it but seems like a white elitist character sings the song… espousing their hierarchical view of the world.

That needs to be challenged!

Ah, further research - the “birds and bees” line *was* an original (perhaps _the_ original) written by Cole Porter for a version of the song in its original form: as part of Paris, the musical. (But still has problematic references… if not so overtly racist as some that appeared in later versions!)
