We talk about this on the pod, but the “Predator” movies are easier watches and more enjoyable than the “Alien” franchise, even if I will always be more of an “Alien” guy.

To put it another way: “Why are Lilo and Stitch and Freakier Friday bigger hits this year for Disney than Snow White was?”
And why does it feel like “Badlands” is working because it’s being sold as a prequel to “Prey” rather than a legacyquel to “Predator?”

(And you see that. The majority of the audience for “Dial of Destiny” was fifty-plus. The problem is that not enough fifty-plus people go to the cinema to see movies for “Dial of Destiny” to be successful.)
