I think that’s exactly what they’re thinking. I don’t think the powers that be are going to allow themselves to be just peacefully voted out of power. They are going to do everything, bend or break any law that they need to to stay in power.

I can't wait to game in a space where i'm not "the guy who owns the store" or anything like that. I can't wait to look at products, not through the retailer eye, but through the gamer eye.

At the same time...I will miss it dearly.

But..all stories have a last page, and this is mine....

..on the front lines the absolute best of success. But 30 years in this industry has a way of wearing one down,& after three decades of being a game retailer, I need to pull back & hopefully redicover my love of games....not as 'products on the wall' ...but as the art forms they are intended.

....my 60's in a couple years, and I just can't deal with reinventing myself and the store again and again.

In this industry (the tabletop gaming industry) is seeing seismic shifts in how it works, who it embraces, and what the consumer base expects. I wish all that are continuing to be..

...telling me about how much being at the store has effected them in a positive way, I can't help but feel very humbled.

There have constantly been challenges and hurdles, but I have (generally) managed to make it over them in one way or another. But at the end of the day, I'm approaching...

....stroke last year. I've gotten my weight way down, but I need to pull the stress out of my life.

It's so difficult selling off everything in the store. This place has been my identity for 27 years, and each piece of inventory that leaves, each decoration or fixture that leaves, hurts..
