What bothers me about this and all the other idiotic line items they are pulling is that it is not that they are taking action, but in ways that make it extremely difficult to restore the service later.

Yes the Nations are being more active in the face of modern problems.
I grew up with Lakota Sioux, and the respect I have for the tribes comes from my own interactions with them.
They dont fit into the political landscape and they know it.
But they also have power in their status.
