How will having another election in Tas change anything now that Dean Winter is saying ‘majority or nothing’.. no talks with Greens. He’ll walk way again just as happened last year and we’ll be left with another failed Lib govt. At what point will Lab accept will of voters? #politas

Demonstrating the flaws in ideological projects like the Cass Review is necessary, critical work, but we should also not lose sight of what this implies: that our structurally transphobic institutions are corrupt, motivated, and require only the flimsiest of rationalizations to target trans people.
Just out! Our peer-reviewed critique of the Cass Review has been published by BMC Medical Research Methodology. Please read and share. We show that the Cass Review is fatally flawed and should not be the basis for policy or practice in transgender healthcare.

So, there is literally zero merit to any anti-trans argument:

-we're at a physical disadvantage to cis women

- just like how we're more likely to be the *victims* of assault

- and the science shows our healthcare is effective and medically necessary

The maintenance *is* the resilience! The technician is as much the system as the wires or the motors. Technology is activity, not artifact.
Folks think things are resilient, but really they're fragile, but had constant maintenance and inspection, so they never noticed.
The Bay Area weather radar (KMUX) has been out of service for more than 24 hours now. An expensive broken part needs to be replaced and specially ordered, but that may not be possible due to ongoing freeze on government credit card spending, I’ve been told.

While it is welcome that the 2026 Census will include questions on sexual orientation and gender identity, it will continue to exclude intersex people, as well as trans and gender diverse people aged under 16. #Census #auspol #aushealth 1/

The questions that will change in Australia's 2026 Census
The Australian Bureau of Statistics will change the wording of questions for 10 existing topics, along with introducing a new topic on sexual orientation and gender that was announced last year.

People want a government that cares. That gives a helping hand when we all need it.

Instead, the Albanese Government has worked with Dutton to attack and blame migrants for issues the major parties created.

It is designed to divide us and fix nothing. We won’t fall for it.

Crying because I thought I was so alone in feeling this way. Thank you @taliabhatt.itch.io 🥹
No but I resonate so much with this tho. With this entire essay about rage and survival.

It didn’t matter how much I was abused or raped, because no amount of coercive violence would make me actively participate in manhood.

Doesn’t mean I was a woman as a kid- I just.,, wasn’t much of anything.

Renewables are Europe‘s future, covering almost 1/2 of energy consumption (2024).

"The amount of progress made in five years of the European Green Deal should inspire confidence in what can be achieved by 2030."

We can do it. We must stay on track.

Newsflash: you can't change people's identity, however viciously you try to wield the law. You can only change how dangerous it is for people to live authentically. Which is a hell of a thing to want to do.
