What a amazing race. I haven't been to le mans since 2002 , I wish I could have been there today. What an atmosphère. There will some serious hang overs in the campsite!

Roads were fine at the time. Obviously quite tight and twisty in places, but most surfaces were ok. I crossed from Chur via St Moritz towards Brescia.
Was cold at the highest point but not freezing.

Crossing the Alps is amazing.. I did in late April. Still very cold at the summit before dropping down I to Italy where it was suddenly 20°+ as I crossed the border. Fantastic!
