Fully agree. I'm really into Final Fantasy 14 and Elden Ring for their narrative experiences, but I find myself often butting heads with lore nerds who think the narrative should serve the lore instead of the opposite.

I remember reading Devilman and it was emotionally devastating, because Akira Fudou was so similar to me, I felt almost like I was living the tragedy through him. I never once felt like that was bad to experience, though. It made me reevaluate my morals.

I've seen people feed everyone's art into the slop machine, and what it churns out is *always* uncanny and worse looking. Don't compare your real art to a mockery of life.

I had this issue in some trans discord servers i joined. I called out the admins for exploiting the trauma of the members instead of helping them to overcome, and it turned into a full blown server-destroying drama every time.
