New tariffs on goods from Canada, Mexico and China took effect Tuesday. For American families, the likely result is higher prices nearly everywhere they turn — in grocery aisles, at car dealerships, at electronics stores and at the pump.

Hmm not sure about comparing it to the Eiffel Tower. 🤔
Jim Ratcliffe, the billionaire co-owner of Manchester United, on Tuesday pitched a new stadium as crucial to the British government’s plan to revive a large swath of Manchester.

He said the project would lure visitors to the city the way the Eiffel Tower brings throngs of tourists to Paris.

What a 50 days these have been! 😔🙄😱
News Analysis: In a span of only 50 days, President Trump has done more than any of his modern predecessors to hollow out the foundations of an international system that the U.S. painstakingly erected in the 80 years since it emerged victorious from World War II.
Power, Money, Territory: How Trump Shook the World in 50 Days
The system America took 80 years to assemble proved surprisingly fragile in the face of Trump’s assault, a revolution in how the country exercises power across the globe.

So much for helping the US car industry.... 🤔🙈
President Trump’s imposition of tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports could make it more expensive to produce cars in the U.S., dealing another blow to automakers already facing the potential of rising steel prices because of other policies from his administration.
Tariffs Add to Automaker Concerns About Higher Steel Costs
Even before the new levies took effect, the industry was worried about prices after President Trump opposed a major merger in the steel sector.

Elon fires hundreds of Twitter employees and Twitter goes down.

Elon fires air traffic controllers and planes go down.

Elon goes on a DOGE rampage and the stock market goes down.

Elon regulates his own SpaceX and its starships go down.

I'm sensing a pattern.

Trump also plans to revoke temporary protected status for some other groups. For Ukrainians, EU temporary protection lasts until March 2026, with the position after that point not yet clear. Here's a thought: could Ukrainians kicked out of the US by Trump be covered by the EU scheme?

What a world of misinformation... Next he'll say "we will be the first to put Mice on Mars". 🤔😮🐁
Trump claimed the Biden administration spent $8 million "making mice transgender." The White House tried to back up this number with records of funding for research into cancer, asthma, and HIV, some of which used *transgenic* (genetically modified) mice.
Trump Decried Millions Spent 'Making Mice Transgender.' It Was Cancer and Asthma Research
President Trump falsely claimed that Biden spent $8 million on 'making mice transgender,' but the real research was for human health.

And this is how we replay them. The United States is that toxic, ungrateful friend that you wish you had cut out of your life sooner.
