When it was still a smoking tip, the tallest around, i used to climb to the top, with mates, all aged around 4 to 8, with pieces of corrugated iron sheets and then lauch ourselves of in twos like bob sleds.

A foliaceous reflection
Laurel leaves are glossy green
or, putting it another way,
the surface has a shiny sheen
reflecting quite an interplay
of light and stuff, but that’s enough
of foliaceous huff and puff
The reason for this little rhyme
is just to say: “It’s flowering time!”
