They were literally directing traffic so that ICE vehicles could enter and exit. They kept protesters off public streets to do this. This officer removed his name badge and would not answer when I asked for his name.

Tear gas, pepper balls, and other projectiles being deployed against protesters this morning at Broadview ICE facility. The protests were peaceful. Chanting, singing. Then every few minutes, federal agents would shoot stuff at us. You really can't believe how blatant this is until you see it.

I really hope ModerateWill keeps popping up in my life with his moderate takes. I hope I sit next to him on the Red Line and he says something about how he'd feel a lot safer taking the train with more police around. He knows what he's about and I respect that.
