This is my first step into the indie dev world.

I’ve been learning game development after hours for the past year. Recently I reached a point where I felt confident enough to start building for real.

💥 I paid off some of my debt

The climb was slow — but real.

I barely slept.
But I kept pushing.
Because I wasn’t doing it for me.
I was doing it for them.
For our future.

I turned to freelancing.
Tools like ChatGPT helped me land my first clients.
But it wasn’t easy:
9–5 job ➡️ Freelance at night ➡️ Game dev classes in between.

And I realized —
I can’t leave them like this.
Something had to change.

I felt like I hit rock bottom.
It was dark. Depressing.
For a moment, I thought:
“Is this it?”
I wanted to give up.
But then…

Almost a year ago, my wife and I had our third child.
It should’ve been a joyful time…
But I was drowning.
Debt collectors were calling.
One even sued me.
