This is my first step into the indie dev world.

I’ve been learning game development after hours for the past year. Recently I reached a point where I felt confident enough to start building for real.

Wings of Bravery is a cozy airplane roguelike inspired by Dave the Diver and Vampire Survivors.

When life gets hard,
you don’t give up.
You rise.
That’s how you build strength.
That’s how you change your story.

Now, I’m ready to dive back into game development —
this time with the mindset I earned in the fire.

Eventually…
💥 I paid off some of my debt
💥 I saved money
💥 I rebuilt confidence
The climb was slow — but real.

I barely slept.
But I kept pushing.
Because I wasn’t doing it for me.
I was doing it for them.
For our future.

I turned to freelancing.
Tools like ChatGPT helped me land my first clients.
But it wasn’t easy:
9–5 job ➡️ Freelance at night ➡️ Game dev classes in between.

I looked at my kids.
At my wife.
And I realized —
I can’t leave them like this.
Something had to change.
And fast.

I felt like I hit rock bottom.
It was dark. Depressing.
For a moment, I thought:
“Is this it?”
I wanted to give up.
But then…

Almost a year ago, my wife and I had our third child.
It should’ve been a joyful time…
But I was drowning.
Debt collectors were calling.
One even sued me.
