I think the number of children named "Hunter" v. the number of children named "Farmer" will be a data point for future archeologists/anthropologists of how this culture descended into full-blown fascism

Maybe but are there any historical analogues where a centralized ruling party does corporate socialism for materiel while raising a henchmen militia to do political violence in the street targeting a dehumanized Other?
