I did not reach my goal of twin peaks today because it was snowing and windy. Still managed to lock in 7 miles and about 1,000ft of elevation gain. #hiking #gayhiker #ANF
Snow covered ground with a tall slender pine tree towering over a few smaller trees. Those white specks in the blue sky? They’re not stars, but snow because it was so damn windy on this ridge. Snow covered rocks and trees, with Strawberry Peak perking up in the background. You can see how excited I am in my eyes 😆 Hiker in a green Patagonia jacket with his face covered up because it is so damn cold. Frozen trees and earth, and white snowy skies. I got up at 5:30am for this. Me on a rocky snow covered Mt Waterman. Temperatures-5283936628C due to wind chill.
