I had the pleasure of reading Hope for Ryan White to 80 students at Head-Royce School in Oakland, CA today. What a smart, curious, and inspiring group of kids!

Like so many others, I’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of fear and cruelty in the news.

This book of short stories about Thich Nhat Hanh’s life was exactly what I needed. It helped me find a sense of peace, gratitude, and wonder - and expand my understanding of empathy. Highly recommend. ✨
