I see a lot of people engaged in play or role-play in public or semi-public settings where anyone watching will only see the technical and fantasy parts of the scene, and where any attempt to get people to clarify the safety/consent parts is met with hostility. Fixing that would be a good start.

That’s really good advice. You can also use the change in cadence it creates as an anchor for that feeling of attentive focus, just like with a “hypnotist voice”.

You write some of the best and most accurate to real life hypno scenes of anyone currently doing it. I think if you like it, there’s absolutely no reason to change it just because other people do it differently.
