I see a lot of people engaged in play or role-play in public or semi-public settings where anyone watching will only see the technical and fantasy parts of the scene, and where any attempt to get people to clarify the safety/consent parts is met with hostility. Fixing that would be a good start.

Normalize showing and talking about the negotiation and safety stuff along with all the teasy storytelling.

Normalize people checking in and both with their subjects and others.

In general make it harder for predators to blend in with what’s visible common practice.

That’s really good advice. You can also use the change in cadence it creates as an anchor for that feeling of attentive focus, just like with a “hypnotist voice”.

Things are always changing. Stick around long enough and they’ll eventually change for the better.

As far as realistic hypno scenes go, yours are actually fairly concise I think.

You write some of the best and most accurate to real life hypno scenes of anyone currently doing it. I think if you like it, there’s absolutely no reason to change it just because other people do it differently.
