David Johansen, New York Dolls passed away, 28th Feb. We spent time in Dallas in 2004 @Crossroads Festival with David & Hubert Sumlin. Stage 4 cancer, a brain tumour & broken back in two places. Tommy Cooper would say, don't go to those places. RIP, David, & condolences to his family. #davidjohansen

I woke up today, it hit me again! My wonderful friend, absolute legend, Sam Moore has left us! Sam & Dave were a bit before my time.
