It's quite telling how immediately after <thing what is happening>, certain people are crawling out of the woodwork to condemn it, when there is abject silence from them when minorities are being illegally carted away, deported, murdered. Says a lot.

Sammie went on a helichopper ride! She had an amazing time!
When she got off she discovered her phone (Pixel 6a) had turned into a spicy pillow. Since I unintentionally bought her a potential bomb, I've ordered her a new Pixel 8a as a replacement. Helicopters were too much apparently 😛

So far I've avoided needing to verify my age on here by using a third party app. DMs and restricted content still work. Hoping it stays that way (though I do have a DNS location changing app if needed).

I've managed to chip one of my front top teeth eating watermelon. Luckily doesn't hurt (unlike one of my back teeth) but I guess I should actually get a referral to the community dentist sorted sooner rather than later.

Router reboot fixed 2.4GHz network! My devices work again! So glad our living room no longer contains servers so I just had to wait until Izzy took lunch (she works remotely so needs internets).

Our 2.4GHz network is down, and I can't find a reason for it. Obvious next step is rebooting the router, but Izzy is working so have to wait until she takes lunch.
I wish we didn't need it but half my accessibility devices don't support 5GHz so here we are. Argh.
