The Balloon Fiesta is so amazing! The first time I saw it, I had just started at UNM and was catching a bus to my Saturday morning class and it happened to be my birthday. I didn't know about the balloon fiesta and it just felt so magical to see so many dotting the sky.

I'm dating myself, but I had a Holly Hobbie Easy Bake Oven. Somehow I got this costume when I was a kid and it was a huge deal! It was the only store-bought costume I ever had. Every other Halloween I had to go through my house and figure it out. Too bad it was hot and uncomfortable!
