My food bank lists wanted items every month. I grew up poor so I’m really good at playing the grocery game. I put aside a fixed amount every week when I shop & purchase the deals. This is a good way to keep giving throughout the year.

My HOA fought so hard against an ADU for a family’s aging parents that I wanted to build one just to spite them. That’s just me tho. I also deposit the dog poop bag in the can next to the pickleball courts.

I send cards, especially to the little ones that ❤️ opening a card that sings & sometimes dances. The 5yo asked me why I send cards – You like getting them, right? Her Yes was the only reason I needed to continue this antiquated practice. As an old, I like getting them too.
