Usual cringe thirty something blah blah blah. Cybersecurity. Tech, politics, gaming, design/architecture, cars and many other things. AuADHD.
We are off to Florida on weds for two weeks though which will be nice. Will ignore the dumpster fire of US politics though lol

A switch off and couple weeks away from work is needed I think

It looks much better, I really liked the car but the back end was very fussy on the first gen

The constant speculation is so boring from the press.

I’ve not looked at their stock well, ever. I’m thinking I’m going to keep an eye on both of them - it’ll be interesting to see!

It does seem these days though there’s so much more choice than the old big boys. Clinging to what they know with dear life.

Loads of EVs in the UK and I just keep seeing more of them, the move is very strong even with our own cost of living pressures

And Ford was strong here, there was loads of Ford’s in my childhood. They were super prevalent, they’ve basically vacated the space for China, ironically. Basically agreeing to shrink their market share, can see them retracting considerably in the future.

What’s the vibe in the US? There’s..

The irony in that. To be fair while the tails of GM are gone from Europe now, Ford are broadly irrelevant here - their European lineup is very poor, lots of badge engineering. Not very competitive, all “low effort” except for the Mach-e but that’s not new now

Gawd I know this stuff happens but it just seems so much more brazen in the US. Very disappointing.

And I guess at the moment, with Trump-o there's less governance steering them in that direction..

Part of me thinks this is a part of a bigger back-lash on GM saying that none of their cars would have car play.

The continent of Europe enters the chat

I’m making a decent effort to read more often, well audio books and a news paper - retention is still appalling though with print media.

I’m behind slightly on my private eye, finished one and started the next.. paper references previous issue - complete blank lol

Yes I am watching PMQ's, not really sure why - I usually find it just an adversarial argument between two diametrically opposed people, not even having the same conversation.

But prices are still rising at a rate of 3.8% YoY.. just saying that the cost of living crisis marches on. With stagnant wages..
