As a dutch person, I feel the need to put cubes of cheese and slices of sausage on there with cocktail skewers that are little flags, to pass around at a birthday party where everyone sits in a circle on plastic lawn chairs.

Great Rutte rant, warms my heart. Once you dive into the details, it's clear that he and his party have done so much damage to our country and our political discourse. And they continue to do so (it's gotten even worse/more blatant with Yesilgöz at the wheel). I wonder what will become of NATO too.

Dit parallel zag ik ook. Ik vraag me af voor welk deel dit te wijten is aan een gebrek aan hoop/ambitie ("als [Mamdani/GLPvdA] niet naar het midden opschuift is de kans op winst klein"); en voor welk deel aan invloed van lobbyisten en grootgeldschieters. Bij beide partijen.

I've never been tested but I feel this. Love working from home, because I can just roll out of bed, drink my big glass of perfect room temperature water that I filled the night before, and get on my computer first thing in the morning.
Only flaw is that sometimes I forget to eat for a few hours.
