I see that she is a 'Global Public Policy Advisor' for Gunster Strategies, where one of her fellow team members ('Global Chief Strategist', no less) is a certain Rt Hon Kwasi Kwarteng. I assume she'd apply the same to him?

In Hendon however, which on paper is an even safer Tory ward, I think Reform may be in with a chance. Jewish community in Hendon very different from that in Finchley - more right-wing, both religiously and politically - and, whilst many right-leaning Jews are keeping well clear of Reform, there is->

I think Hendon could be interesting. On the face of it, looks similar to neighbouring Finchley Church End (where I live), which is also just over 30% Jewish. Very safe Conservative ward; had a by-election back in March, where Reform candidate (former Tory councillor) only got 10%, with Labour 2nd.->

On a less flippant note: the Home Office and Foreign Office were successors to the Northern Department of State and the Southern Department of State, which had come into being in the 17th century when the workload became too much for a single Department (and Secretary) of State.
