“no time to die” is the biggest bond fumble. killing jeffrey wright’s felix for no reason was stupid, wasting rami malek as a supervillain was criminal, then blowing up your lead because he wanted to be an ac-tour for five minutes. i’d have flown that final edit into the sun if it were me.

rebooting again likely means giving up fiennes as m, whishaw as q, and harris as moneypenny.

the issue is they all work. it needed craig to bow out normally, then hook up the next actor. instead he got too much power internally and wanted his own dramatic (dumbass) ending.

down 14, converting after the first touchdown makes it six. theoretically stop + touchdown + extra point wins the game.

miss the first conversion, then with the rate being 50/50, if down eight there’s a second shot to draw.

it seems big brained, esp if the team isn’t running conversions regularly.

football for the masses = grassroots investment.
players need rest = fix the calendar.
genocide gets you banned = genocide gets you banned.

and drilling down on intentionality in the way i meant it, i don’t think i write as much now to prove how clever i am. out of college everything was a chance to show how smart i thought i was, which worked out occasionally, but i can spot the big-brainedness whenever i read old stuff.

i stand by most things, but not all things, certainly not every intention behind why i was writing.

i’m glad i write less and pretty much what i want these days. i can sit with ideas for months and get them where i’m comfortable, rather than the constant churning of content. that eats energy and spirit until you’re a zombie.
