I mean, if we extrapolate our smith could have been a 20 goal striker last year for us, but it’s a step up and I’d rather have someone in now than overspend in January.

Wouldn’t mind splashing on a proper striker to play with smith, but yeah, that’s my read as well. Wouldn’t mind a bit of a utility midfielder either instead of just holding, or maybe a bit of wingback depth, but if we take three off that list I’ll be thrilled.

I’d be shocked, personally, for this off season, but if we’re intending to stay in the championship a whole or even challenge in a couple of years we aren’t miles away from having to drop eight figures on a signing.
