It’s the only explanation for it!! It could not have gone more wrong for him…take it out of the equation and I think fans would have been happy if he got the job. There is a freshness about the team and the players love him, not sure Tuchel will bring the same vibe.

Agree, there is a freshness to this team and it would be a shame if Tuchel didn’t try and retain that. I’m not sure, that game was such a disaster both on and off the pitch and was all too much for Carsley but I reckon the plan before then was to give it to him permanently.
