I’m working on this new crochet project for my 9 year old. He wants the potato from Plants vs Zombies.
I keep telling myself “trust the process”. Trouble is I’m making this up as I go along and I’m not sure trusting the process counts in this situation. Oh well at least it looks somewhat potatoey.

Since we have the time, people should really inform themselves about Newsom's specifically loathsome policies/statements against three extremely vulnerable and marginalized groups: the disabled, the unhoused, and trans people.
I hate the idea of Gavin Newsome being president. The goal should not be Democrat Trump. The man is ableist and all kinds of problematic. The way so many people support him is distressing. If he gets in office, I fear for the lives of disabled people in America just as much as I fear for them now.

I'm in the stage of my chronic illness that I'm cold for no reason. I have 3 sweaters on and a long sleeved shirt. Two pairs of socks. Only one pair of pants, but I'm going to see how I feel in a few minutes. Prolly should get a blanket too.

There was a person jay walking across the street yesterday. I was really invested in them getting crossed the street quickly. I was making noises and small gestures they couldn’t see. I didn’t want them to get hit by a car!
I was the only car in the area and there was no chance of me hitting them.

Finally finished my first basket! It is huge, but should work for my yarn. If you see ends I haven’t woven in, no you didn’t. Those were woven in after the picture was taken. Now I have to move on to something else! Yay, but also boo!

My left hand isn’t liking me right now. I hand wrote two pages with my right hand. My left hand has literally not done anything. Still it insists that it’s worked too hard. There will continue to be a sharp pain in my wrist until the keyboard is turned the right way. Spoiler: there is no right way.
