Lady night, I completed the latest draft of Stone Cold Blood, book 2 in my Children of Inauron series. It feels like a significant milestone to me, and I'm thrilled at finally exporting it for beta readers!

In 2014, I was 140kg (22st 1lb/309lbs), and now I'm 100kg (15st 10lb/220lbs)

Just finished Strange Beasts by @susanjmorris.bsky.social. It was excellent! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in supernatural whodunnit novels. It was well-paced, wonderfully visual and frequently kept me up until far too late to read JustOneMoreChapter™ I'm already gasping for a sequel.

It has been found! And I was right about the cover! The Interpretation of Murder by Jed Rubenfield. I ended up joining a Crime Fiction Facebook group and appealed directly to fans of the genre. Thankfully, one of them had read it. Hopefully I'll sleep better tonight now!

It had a cover that was somewhat similar to The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruis Zafon. And was published in and around the same era as that book. It was popular enough that I was able to purchase it in a store like WH Smiths.
