...Vladdy doubling to lead off. Bo likely gets walked and removed for a pinch runner at that point. Then you have Barger and Kirk with two on. Much different situation for Barger. No guarantees but I like 1st and 2nd, no outs much better than 1st and 3rd, one out and MLBs slowest runner...m

...they failed to produce. Whether it was Andres Gimenez and Addison Barger being doubled up to end game 6, Jeff Hoffman giving up the game tying homer in game 7. The decision to pinch run for Bo in the first place. Sure, it made sense at the time but given the way the 11th inning unfolded ..

A 9th inning where the ball doesn't lodge in the wall for the first time in World Series history (I'm guessing), then Ernie doesn't pop up the first pitch and Gimenez and Barger don't combine for a game ending double play. But, another day of stress is good too.
